Fish Loop

Developed for Jam Quest 2024 with the theme 'Time Loop'

Sypnosis

You are a cat stuck in a time loop repeating the same day able to eat some of the best fish ever everyday. However, other cats are wary to your presence as they are also in a time loop so the next day won't be so easy.

Controls
Arrow Keys or WASD to move
Enter or Space to confirm
Escape to exit to menu (progress will be lost)

Difficulty Options (to make it easier)

Press "enter" during a level to display enemy vision cones. It's not perfect as it doesn't account for line-of-sight blocking (if you are hiding behind an object)

Press "Q" three times, to change the time of day (it's easier at night where you will be hidden)

Dev Notes

Night levels are under used, I don't think I could make decent levels with the mechanics I had implemented. I ended up having one night-time level and then repurposing the night-time levels for a sort of easy mode (where you can change the time of day to night)
